I just wish it was more simple to figure out which connectors were needed. The description should be simpler. All I wanted was 1/2" copper connections but somehow the unit showed up with PEX connections. Overall good radiator though.

I replaced a Dunkirk XEB-3 (20 yrs. old) with the Dunkirk boiler above. The new one is all most identical to the old one, that is the pipes were located same as the old, so gas and water lines were easily plumbed. The old electrical wires could be used although lengthened to connect to the digital controls. The circulators location has changed, it's still provided with its wiring provided. Venting is the same as the old one. I was happy to get another Dunkirk that installed easily.

At this point I cannot review performance as we have not yet used the heated floor. I will say that I am impressed with the cost of this product from eComfort. We surveyed several options for purchasing the DitraHeat and eComfort was significantly less than the other options. This is the third Mitsubishi unit I've installed at my house. These units perform quietly, efficiently and hardly cost any $$ to operate. They can be added easily to just about any room in your home. If you have underperforming or just worn out conventional AC systems, this is definitely a system to add to or replace existing AC units. Highly recommended!!
