Installation took about 4 hrs (handy guy) and it's a 2 person job. Since the fans are placed in the attic and away from the bedrooms you barely hear the fans running at high speed unless you are standing right beneath them. I have a 3200 sqft home and this works quite well. From the day I got it installed, I use my AC much less. All in all a good purchase, wish I done this much sooner. Detailed instructions helped install our two fans. We have one working the garage, while the second unit is on duty in our attic. They are reasonably quiet, and the temperature controller is a good name brand known for consistency. I adapted a pleated air filter to keep the assembly dust free. We haven't noticed a difference in savings on our air conditioner operating, but expect to benefit when we will increase insulation throughout our attic.

The installation went as smooth as glass. The contractor was done in one day with my help. I am using this system to cool my garage (20 x 20 x 9) in FL. The system both indoor and outdoor units are unbelievably quite. The system is not cheap. However, you are getting a very high quality product worth every penny. On a 98/98 degree/humidity day the garage was cooled to 72 in about 90 minutes.
