It Performs Good For One Year Dec 21, 2016

Our company has about 70 0f the v53 tankless waterheaters installed in our park models and cabins we got 7 cabins in 2015 june and 9 more in 2016 dec we are having problems with the heater to keep it running i've called for tech support but no one has a contract with rinnai to do warrenty work. We have customers in them now and no hot water - please help.

We purchased the Electro Boiler as a backup heat source for our son's home in rural New Jersey. Due to the rocky soil there is no natural gas. He uses a pellet stove as the first heat source. We were replacing an older oil boiler, clearly from the long ago days of cheap oil. This was a dual purpose affair, with a hot water function, where on the hottest days if you wanted to take a shower, or wash the dishes, you had to fire up the boiler. Would have rated this system 5 stars across the board, but the equipment manuals were poorly written. Equipment: Impressed with the quality of manufacturing, and the quietness of both outdoor and indoor units. Manuals: 1. Outdoor unit manual was acceptable, but lacked some clarity for installation options. 2. Indoor unit manual was terrible. Instructions to open the unit for installation access were incorrect.
